Okay I have had my comp for 2-3 years now and the dvd writable drive stopped working this month. The drive does not read or burn any disks! It doesn’t even read cd’s! I tried reinstalling windows xp from a recovery partition and that didn’t help either. So now I have a clean windows xp install and I uninstalled the drivers too… this did not help. I don’t know what to do… um, the drive opens and closes and lights up when doing so and shows up just fine under device manager and my comp. Oh and I don’t hear the disk spinning in the drive either. Should I buy a new drive? perhaps external?

Hi, I am an avid Internet Marketer and I have A LOT of websites. I have over 50 websites and my biggest problem is creating unique content for them.
